Debra Funt is the Founder and Principal of Debra Funt Interiors. Her design philosophy is simple and straightforward: working collaboratively with clients and listening to their needs is essential for creating a home that truly embodies a family’s lifestyle. Debra’s approach integrates a classical viewpoint with a modern sensibility. The result is a relaxed, elegant interior that is fully functional. Debra excels in project management and execution so that the clients can feel confident in every detail of their project from inception to completion.

Debra and her team of skilled artisans offer comprehensive design services including: design concept, furnishings, kitchen and bathroom design, renovation of existing space, and project management. 

Debra’s has offered her expertise as a speaker and panelist during NY Design Week, The studio’s projects have been featured on NBC’s Open House, Westchester Home, NY Cottages & Gardens, Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, Scarsdale Living, NY Metro Parents, and multiple lifestyle blogs.

Debra honed her color and design skills during a decade as a marketing executive in the textile industry. After deciding to direct her career toward interior design, Debra attended the New York School of Interior Design to enhance her knowledge and skills in all aspects of architectural history, space planning and design. Over the past 20 years, she has brought her extensive expertise to a variety of residential projects in Manhattan, Westchester, the Hamptons, and South Florida.
